How much money should i bring for my field trip to new york city?

All our food is payed for with the money we spent for the package.(this is for school).
We are going to:
- Little Italy/ Chinatown
- Times Square shopping
- Rockefeller Center
-St. Patricks Cathedral
-Sak’s 5th Ave
-FAO Swartz Toy store
-NBC studio
-Top of Rock Observation deck
-Broadway Shrek
-Central Park East
-Ground Zero/ Lower Brodway shopping
-The Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island
How much money do you think I should bring don’t want to bring to much or not enough people are telling me somewhere between $150-$200. What do you think?
its 3 days and 2 nights, and the package includes transportation, food, and a hotel.
and yes i want to go shopping. the orchestra seats for shrek are also paid for with the package.

    It depends whether or not you plan on shopping. I would say that between $150 – 200 sounds about right for a day in nyc. Is the transportation paid for too? If you don’t plan on doing much shopping then you prob could get away with spending like 100…so it really depends on how much you plan on spending. I definitely wouldn’t bring more than 200 or less than 75…..assuming that everything you listed was already paid for.

    $150 for the first day. $100 for every day thereafter.

    um a whole lot. things are expensive. and you never know whats going to happen are you getting souvinears or something, what areyou paying for? i say atleast $500 to get you going you never knowsomething might go wrong and you might just be the luckyone to get out of the situation trust me on this.

    In between 200-500 dollars. Everything’s expensive in the city and you definitly don’t want to run out of money.
